You’ve heard of Blogrolls, right? A list of the favorite blogs or websites you visit frequently. There’s one on this page, right in the middle. Pretty neat, huh?

Well I want to do something a bit different. A tribute to all of you who listen and support TZC. So how about a

FANROLL

On the right hand side of the page right below the ‘This is Where I Lurk’ section, I’m going to put a list of fans and their websites. A way to give back and maybe help them get some hits and have their work (whatever it is) noticed.

How do you get it on this? It’s simple. All you have to do is email me (jjmelzer@gmail.com) and tell me your name, first/last or both, your website and why you like The Zombie Chronicles. You’ll be listed in the FANROLL for everyone to see and check out if they so choose. If you don’t have a website, well that’s cool too. Email me anyway and I’ll still put your name on the FANROLL.

After 31 years I can finally say that I will be a published author. It’s been a long, treacherous road with many up’s and down’s but I can honestly say that I wouldn’t trade any of it for this moment.

Yup, you guessed it.

The Zombie Chronicles Trilogy has been SOLD to Permuted Press in a 3-book deal that is a first for podcast fiction. Why? The opening book in the trilogy isn’t even finished yet! This deal comes based on all the episodes you have heard so far. Permuted has faith in the work, faith in me and faith in you–dear listener–that TZC will continue to be a success and while I feel the pressure already beginning to mount, I too have faith in all these things.

I would like to thank all of you who listen and support The Zombie Chronicles from the bottom of my heart. This moment isn’t just about me, it’s about all of you as well. I wouldn’t be where I am and wouldn’t be able to get to where I am going without all of you. Your emails, well wishes, tweets, facebook posts–all of it, has kept me going more than you could possible imagine and also shows the power of social media.

There is no set date as of yet for when the first book in the trilogy will hit stores (let me finish it first!) but I will be sure to keep you in the loop on all the juicy details.

Once again, thank you, thank you, thank you! I will treasure this moment, the moment I put pen to paper in order to finalize the deal, for the rest of my life. When I think back on it I will not only think back on all the hard work it took to get here but also on all of you for helping to make my boyhood dream come true.

Jacob, Jenny and Nameless have broken free and set up their own accounts and frankly, I don’t know what’s going to happen. Jacob swore at me last night and I think Jenny made some sort of advance towards me. Nameless, he’s just impatient. Just click on their names and add them to your list.

I’ve started a new blog that is totally detatched from The Zombie Chronicles. It is not endorsed or supported by anyone but me.

HALF NAKED is my attempt to deal with things that might not interest anyone but me. It’s going to talk about social media, the world of publishing, fiction writing and anything else I feel like mentioning. It’s not there to slam anyone or anything.
