Announcing Pop Army

As some of you who follow me on Twitter and Facebook know, Jenny and I have started a new website, Pop Army. This is in addition to our own websites, as well as Jenny’s awesome kid website, Kid Wonderful. Why so many websites, you ask?

Simple. We’re building a network.

All of these websites will soon fall under the Double J Media label, with more to be added later. The point of all this? To write content we enjoy, while monetizing our efforts. You’ll see that all of our websites (except Jenny’s for the moment) have ads on them. Ads are how we make money, bottom line. No one is paying us, so we have to make cash somehow, right?

Our latest effort, Pop Army, is an entertainment website complete with movie, television, Hollywood and celebrity news, photo galleries and videos. The whole works. We’ve both written for these types of websites before, enjoy making the content, and are having a hell of a lot of fun doing Pop Army. Together with our Managing Editor, Nicole Ireland, and contributing writers, we hope to build a website that will be fun for people to visit and interact with, while providing our own spin on things.
