DBDA 2: Beyond Exile – Now Shipping (Recommended Reading)

Folks, the long awaited sequel to J.L Bourne’s Day By Day Armageddon is now available, and it is lighting up the charts! When I woke up this morning, DBDA 2: Beyond Exile was #56 in books on Amazon.com, and #5 in horror. Sandwiched right between Charlaine Harris and Stephen King. Not a bad place to be.

If you’re unfamiliar of Bourne’s work, all you have to know that it is some of the best zombie fiction I’ve ever read. Seriously. It’s got action, plot, gore, engaging characters, and of course lots of zombie goodness. He began giving the first book away for free on his website years ago, got picked up by Permuted Press, where it has been their #1 seller forever, and became part of the co-publishing venture between Permuted and Simon & Schuster (which I am also a part of). Armageddon is now in it’s 3rd printing I believe, and there’s already talks about sending DBDA 2 into an early second printing as well, since it’s so damn hot.
