Horror Realm 2010 is Coming!

Last year I attended my first ever convention. Horror Realm, in Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania. I sold some wears, participated in an author reading where I read from my forthcoming debut novel, Escape, and signed some autographs. Well, I am pleased to say that this year I’ll be doing almost all of it again.

Horror Realm is taking place from September 17 to 19, 2010, at the Crowne Plaza Hotel, Pittsburgh South. Guests include Ken Foree, Tiffany Shepis, Robyn Griggs, and Scarlet Salem, and many great authors and artists will also be in attendance as well. Folks like Joel Robinson, Kim Paffenroth, and of course, me. You never know who you might run into, too. Last year I got to hook up with Tom Savini for a bit, and Tony Todd banged on our door at midnight looking for Ken Foree. There was also a great room party I attended with the likes of S.G. Browne, Doctor Pus, and the dude who got his head chopped off by a helicopter in Dawn of the Dead (he brought us ice). So all-in-all, Horror Realm is a hell of a fun weekend with lots of great people, in a great hotel.

This year I’ll be there celebrating not only the soon-to-be-released novel, but also my marriage. Jenny and I are getting hitched the weekend before, so we’ll be in good spirits for sure. Yes, Jenny will be there too with me. You know her, right? I’ll be giving a reading late Saturday afternoon, and partying it up all through the night with you fine folks. I might even have a few surprises for you as well.
