Welcome back to another episode of UNLEASHED! Proudly sponsored by Permuted Press.
This weeks book giveaway is doubly special due to the fact that I’m bringing you an interview with 16-year old filmmaker, Emily Hagins. Emily graciously donated not one but TWO copies of her film ‘Pathogen’ to give away, so we have not one but TWO winners this week.
I weigh in briefly on the subject of James Patterson signing a 17-book deal. Yeah, that’s right, SEVENTEEN BOOKS!
UNLEASHED goes on holidays once again but will return in two weeks after Horror Realm with lots of great stuff!
Emily Hagins is an independent filmmaker from Austin, Texas. At age 12 she began shoot
ing her first film, Pathogen, making her the youngest female teenager in the United States to make a feature length movie. She’s been heavily influenced by the likes of Perter Jackson and Lord of the Rings as well as a tonne of horror and zombie flicks. She’s currently sending her second film, The Retelling, out to film festivals for consideration and she’s already begun work on her third feature, a comedy-collaboration about kids making a movie. Emily and I had a great time talking and giving away some books ad DVDs.

Another great interview. She seems like an incredibly smart girl with a bright future ahead of her. She also has great taste in movies.
