About the Author: James Melzer tells lies for a living, what more do you want?

“…their blood looked dark gray but up there, it was as Crimson as a King I once read about” (about 12:15 in to this episode)
I’m guessing that was a Dark Tower reference. I just got done listening to that book series before I started this one. Stephen King’s Dark Tower series is also a great read. Once you buy all of James’s books, I highly suggest checking them out.
You’re right! The Crimson King is in reference to The Dark Tower series. It’s one of my all-time favorite saga’s and that line was just my little way of paying tribute to it. Good catch!
